Air France jet searched in LA for missing explosives
An Air France jet arriving in Los Angeles from Paris was evacuated when authorities learned that French police lost track of explosives at a training exercise at Charles de Gaulle Airport. No explosives were found in LA. The 362 passengers and crew were also screened. US transportation officials say several planes were also searched in New York. French police were using explosives to train bomb-detecting dogs, and they lost track of a rigged piece of luggage.
