HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters has been called in to investigate an alleged hazing incident at Summit Country Day High School.

Several members of the Summit Country Day soccer team were disciplined for what the school says calls "misbehavior during an out-of-town boys' soccer trip that was violation of our code of conduct."

Deters confirms the incident was related to hazing and took place during a soccer trip to Philadelphia. He said the school has been cooperating with the investigation, which began on Thursday.

A statement from Rich Wilson, head of Summit County Day, says "proper authorities" were alerted of the situation.
