WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

The missing West Chester couple was found dead Saturday afternoon in their vehicle.

Authorities says the bodies of Bob, 85, and Marian Gleason, 86, were found in their red 1997 GMC Truck off Sonya Lane behind a neighbors home.  Sonya Lane intersects with Bromyard Avenue, where the couple lived.

The truck was found crashed in a gully in a wooded area just 100 yards away from the roadway where the Gleasons lived.

"It's currently a traffic crash investigation.  We're looking to determine if there was any medical conditions or what could have caused this traffic crash," said West Chester Police Lt. Barry Walker.

Lt. Walker says there is no sign of foul play, but it's unclear when the crash occurred or if the Gleasons died upon impact.

"I don't have any information on their cause of death or their time of death or anything like that," Lt. Walker said.

The truck was described as badly damaged.

Two neighborhood children were playing in the woods when they discovered the truck.

"I saw the little who lives two doors up come running from the backyard with her friend," said William Kelly, who lives around the corner from the Gleasons.

Relatives describe the Gleasons as just a kind old couple.  Bobbie Kelly says Marian Gleason was a friendly neighbor.

"She used to walk all the time and I would see her because I'm always in the yard and we would stand and talk and introduced herself and a sweet lady, you know," Kelly said.

The Gleasons were last seen Tuesday at a Speedway station on Route 42 near I-275.

Members of the search organization Texas EquuSearch assisted in an expanded search effort on Saturday.
