COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -
Covington Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 27-year-old woman.
Phyllis Lee Neace was last seen Aug. 29 at a house on 16th street near Madison Avenue in Covington, according to Lt. Col. Bryan Carter.
Neace's mother, Linda Govan, says she usually hears from her daughter on a regular basis.
"I'm scared that she's not safe. This isn't like her not to call, not to get ahold of me. I talk to her every day and I haven't heard a word since the 29th of August," Govan told FOX19 NOW.
Police report Neace may have been spotted Sep. 9 at a Dixie Highway gas station, but the sighting is not confirmed. Lt. Carter says there is concern about a past relationship of Neace's that investigators are looking in to.
"She was possibly involved in an abusive relationship in the past. We want to make sure that's not going on still," said Carter.
Neace, who has three children, is described as a white female, five feet two inches tall, 109 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is asked to call the Covington Police at (859) 356-3191 or contact Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
