BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -

How much is 651 pounds of marijuana worth? Nearly $3 million and a trip to the Clermont County Jail.

Jermaine Jackson, 33, of Gallipolis, was charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana, both second degree felonies, after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped his 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe on eastbound State Route 32 at 9 a.m. Thursday.

A drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle and a probable cause search revealed the stash.

If convicted, Jackson faces up to 16 years in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
