(FOX19) - Mars Chocolate has issued a voluntary recall for some M&M's brand theater boxes.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, some boxes may contain peanut butter, even though the ingredient isn't listed on the outside packaging. The inside package, however, is properly labeled.

The company issued the recall because people who have allergies to peanuts could have a serious allergic reaction if their box contains peanut butter.

No adverse reactions have been reported as a result of this mistake.

Visit the FDA website for a list of lot numbers that have been recalled.

If you have purchased an item with one of these lot numbers, you are able to return the product for a full refund, according to the FDA.  Anyone who has concerns about this can call the company at 1-800-627-7852.
