WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

Fire officials are saying a house fire in West Chester Township is suspicious, considering its the third time crews have responded to that house in two years.

Crews reported to the house at the corner of 3rd Street and Central Avenue shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire crews had to battle the fire from the outside because it was too dangerous to go in.

A water main break in the area slightly hampered efforts by firefighters but they were able to get the flames out within an hour. Crews then worked to make sure there were no more hot spots that could flare up.

The home is vacant and no injuries were reported in connection with the fire. The house sustained severe damage.
