CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

A car rolled on top of a man in Clifton Saturday afternoon, trapping him underneath.

Police were called to the scene of an apartment building on Martin Luther King Drive around 12:30 p.m. for the report of a man pinned between a car and a wall.

When authorities arrived, the man was underneath the car, hanging upside down over a 20-foot wall.

To get the man out, crews had to secure the car so it didn't roll and then lift it off of him with air bags.

Police say he suffered serious injuries to both of his legs. They were able to give him pain medication while he was trapped.

The man was freed from the car within 30 minutes and was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center.

It is unknown how the car ended up on top of the man. No word on charges at this time.
