MORGAN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

AirCare was called to a multi-motorcycle wreck in Butler County Saturday afternoon.

At least 12 bikes crashed around 3:10 p.m. on the 6800 block of Cincinnati-Brookville Road, according to authorities.

Seven people were reportedly injured, but more injuries may be unaccounted for as some of the riders involved with the crash hopped back onto their vehicles and rode away.

Five people were flown to UC Medical Center, with four of them being in critical condition.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said.

Officials say the motorcycles involved in the crash were part of a group of 200 bikers who were riding in a fundraising event to benefit two children from Harrison who are wheelchair bound.

As of Sunday, one female had died due to her injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
