A man was injured in a shooting in South Fairmount Saturday afternoon.
Police say the shooting happened after a intruder kicked in the door of a house in the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue around 12:30 p.m.
The man that was in the house, a 23-year-old white male, was shot in the chest. He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. This condition is unknown at this time.
According to police, the suspect is a black male who was wearing a ski mask. The suspect fled the scene and police are still trying to locate him. A police dog was called to the scene to help.
