Thousands of positions for the 2014 holiday season are up for grabs at Macy's stores across the country, the company announced on Monday.
Macy's, which has a corporate office in Cincinnati and a call center in Mason, will hire 86,000 seasonal associates. Representatives say that is 3,000 more positions than the 2013 seasonal hiring plan.
1,125 associates are needed for four customer service centers nationwide, including the center in Mason, Ohio. Other positions include in-store and shipping associates.
To apply, visit macysJOBS.com. Hiring for sales positions is expected to begin in mid-October and other positions are already being filled.
Most positions are part-time and flexible, according to Macy's. Many require employees to work evenings, weekends or overnights. Company representatives say temporary seasonal associates who perform well could be offered year-round positions in certain cases.
