The story of some Washington firefighters has gone viral after they went out of their way to make sure some family pets would survive a house fire.
According to the Associated Press, Lacey, Wash. firefighters saved the lives of four hamsters after a family's mobile home caught on fire.
They treated five hamsters--two adults and three babies--with oxygen. One of the babies did not survive.
No people were inside the home at the time of the fire.
