(FOX19) - Kentucky State Police say they found the vehicle belonging to a University of Cincinnati professor who has been missing for five weeks.
Randy Russ, a computer science professor, was last seen on Aug. 18 at his Dry Ridge home, according to family members. Russ' green Ford Taurus was located on Tuesday, but Kentucky State Police are not revealing where it was found.
Officials say the car will be processed for evidence in the case.
Russ' cell phone had been turned off and the discovery of the vehicle is the first sign of the professor since his disappearance.
While they are still treating this as a missing person's case, Kentucky State Police say they are not ruling out foul play.
