A driver was killed and a child Air Cared to the hospital Wednesday following an accident between a dump truck and car in Hanover Township. The crash occurred around 6 p.m. on U.S. 27 at 130. A dump truck struck a train overpass, causing its backhoe to slide off the trailer and hit an oncoming car, according to a release from the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

Cincinnati firefighters were called to a 2-alarm fire at UC Medical Center Thursday morning.  The fire broke out in the basement just before 8:30 a.m.

Fire crews contained and quickly extinguished the fire by 8:45 a.m. Firefighters are using large fans to evacuate some lingering smoke.

About 80 people are now being monitored for symptoms of Ebola in Texas, a Dallas County Health and Human Services spokeswoman said Thursday.

The Lincoln Heights Police Department shut down Thursday morning.  Dispatchers told FOX19 NOW the closure is due to a legal issue. Surrounding agencies are covering for Lincoln Heights for now.  If you need emergency services and live in the area, you are asked to call 911.
