Man struck, killed by vehicle in College Hill

A 19-year-old male was struck and killed after being hit by a car Friday morning in College Hill.

Police identified the victim was Brent Lewis.

According to police, Lewis was walking in the crosswalk of Argus Road and West North Bend Road when he was struck by a sedan just after 7 a.m.  

The 59-year-old driver says it was dark and rainy at the time of the accident and the victim was wearing dark clothing.  The driver had one passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash. 

Witnesses on the scene say they attempted to lift the vehicle after the victim was pinned underneath. 

Police have not released the names of the victim or the driver.

Police are investigating the accident.
