 Good afternoon Tri-State! It's Friday!

 We will watch on and off showers into the afternoon as a slow moving front will push through the Tri-State. The chance will taper late this evening and overnight as a cool but dry Saturday sets up. Our next chance of rain will be late on Sunday with rain and thunderstorms to start off next week in the low 70s.  This afternoon will be mostly cloudy with some scattered showers and a high of 58.

Jurors in the case of David Dooley recommended Friday morning life in prison for murder, and five years for tampering with evidence.  The jury found Dooley guilty of murder and tampering in the death of Michelle Mockbee Thursday night.

Eight gang members have been arrested in connection with several robberies and violent acts around University of Cincinnati's campus.  The Cincinnati Police Department announced Thursday that 12 cases were cleared through the collaborative investigation involving districts 2, 3, 4 and 5.

A good samaritan was beaten and robbed while trying to help a stranded driver in Dearborn County, and the suspects are still on the loose. The victim received about 20 stitches to his head, but is going to be fine, and police say this whole attack appears to be a premeditated plan.
