AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police say a 16-year-old boy is expected to recover after he was shot three times at an Avondale bus stop Monday night.
Three men walked up to the victim about 10:30 p.m. at the corner of Lexington Avenue and Reading Road and shot him in the chest, back and buttocks, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.
The teen was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.
No arrests have been made. The motive in the attack remains under investigation, Brown said.
Police received reports of a second shooting in the area, but it turns out callers were referring to the initial one, Brown said.
No one else was found shot.
