CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A woman is in police custody for allegedly robbing her employer, who is blind, at the Hamilton County Courthouse.

Kent Parker owns the deli inside the Hamilton County courthouse where soda, chips and other snack foods are for sale. Gloria Wolfe, 30, was arrested on Tuesday for stealing food from Parker's business.

Wolfe had reportedly been Parker's employee for 14 months.

Due to diabetes, Parker lost his sight 20 years ago. Parker says it has never stopped him from making correct change, but some still take advantage of him.

“We find it quite regularly. Which I don't quite understand why they do it when the whole place is surrounded by cameras and there's generally 200 to 300 police officers in the building,” Parker told FOX19 NOW.

An on-scene official said Tuesday's incident was the fifth recent time that Parker has been robbed.

Wolfe was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center and will make her initial court appearance Wednesday morning. Wolfe is charged with two counts of theft, felony charges because she is accused of stealing from someone with a disability.
