Puppy found in alleged drug dealer's pocket

FOX19 - A puppy is recovering after she was found in a drug dealer's pocket during a Massachusetts drug bust.

According to WHDH in Boston, police were searching an alleged criminal's pocket when they found the tiny puppy.

"I was actually just shocked at how tiny she was, she didn't have any teeth and was just like a tiny loaf," the dog's foster mother Alexis Bywater told WHDH.

The foster parents thought it was only fitting to name the little american pit bull terrier Pocket.

The veterinary clinic where the 3 or 4 week old puppy was treated said she was vomiting and pretty dehydrated but she is expected to make a full recovery.

Once the puppy recovers, she will be put up for adoption.
