FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) - A Forest Park mother was arrested over the weekend after police say she hit her 10-year-old daughter so hard, she left the child with long gashes on her face and wrist.
Nicole Rumph, 38, was booked into the Hamilton County jail Friday on a domestic violence charge and released Saturday on $2,500 bond, court records show.
She was ordered to stay away from her daughter while the case works through the court system.
She is accused of using her hands to beat the child in the family's Versailles Drive apartment.
The girl suffered a 6-inch-long gash on her face and a 2-inch-long one on her right wrist.
The case is scheduled for a Nov. 4 bench trial.
