Winton Hills mother arrested after toddler found wandering street
WINTON HILLS, OH (FOX19) -
A Winton Hills mother was arrested over the weekend after police say she left her 3-year-old home alone - and the toddler was found wandering outside yelling for her in the middle of the night.
Leshell Gibbs, 20, faces one count of endangering children.
Cincinnati police arrested her about 2:50 a.m. Saturday after they responded to the 5200 block of Holland Drive. A neighbor reported finding her son outside yelling for his mother for more than 30 minutes.
Gibbs was released from jail on her own recognizance Saturday and scheduled to return to court for a Nov. 3 pre-trial.
Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services is investigating.
