A man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly making a bomb and placing it in a public place, according to official documents.
Thomas Bedacht, 31, manufactured a dry ice bomb before placing it in a public location where citizens and children were nearby, according to court documents. The device reportedly exploded, causing alarm to several people.
Documents state that Bedacht, a resident of Hamilton, placed the bomb in the 7600 block of Hamilton Avenue in Mount Healthy on Oct. 15.
Bedacht is charged with unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance, which is a fifth degree felony, and illegal manufacturing of an explosive, a second degree felony.
