CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Austin Hawkins will probably never say A.J. Green is his favorite NFL player ever again.
It got him booted from his home.
That's because his dad is Andrew Hawkins, former Cincinnati Bengal wideout who now plays for the rival Cleveland Browns. And for all intents and purposes, shouldn't your dad be your favorite NFL player?
But in this case, 2-year-old Austin tells his dad that Pro Bowler A.J. Green and Mohamed Sanu are his favorite NFL players, prompting Hawkins to send Andrew out into the world alone.
Hawkins is in his fourth year with the NFL, playing his first three seasons as a teammate of his son's favorite players. In the last offseason though, the Browns came calling with a larger offer sheet, and Hawkins made the move from Cincinnati to Cleveland.
It's a move that has worked out well, highlighted by his first career 100-yard receiving game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
Not to worry, of course; the video was all in good fun.
