REILY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Officials have identified the men who were killed Friday in an accident at a Reily Township water tower.
Gazmend Vukaj, 40, and Florjan Nijal, 25, fell off a 100-foot scaffold while painting the water tower, located in the 3600 block of Oxford-Reily Road.
Butler County Sgt. Randall Lambert said the accident was caused by failed scaffolding.
The victims were contracted by the Southwest Regional Water District through Michigan-based V&T painting, according to the AP.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office says they are working with other agencies, including OSHA, to investigate the incident.
