WALTON, KY (FOX19) -

Thousands of jobs are available at eBay Enterprise in Walton, Ky. as a new facility officially opens on Tuesday.

Several people will be in Walton, including Governor Steve Beshear, to celebrate an expansion and job fair to fill 2,000 openings for the holiday season.

People applying for jobs have the opportunity to make $12 an hour with the chance to earn $1,000 weekly, according to the company.

Applicants must be 18 years old to apply for the positions, which include pickers, packers, shippers, equipment operators, senior leads and supervisors. The positions are available for all shifts. You must pass a background check and drug screening, and it's helpful to have warehouse experience.

The job fair begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 7 p.m. It will be held at eBay Enterprise in Walton, located at 40 Logistics Boulevard.
