Three pedestrians struck in separate accidents

SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

 Three pedestrians were struck in three separate accidents across the Tri-State Wednesday morning.

A man in his 40s was hit by a vehicle in a business parking lot in the 3000 block of East Crescentville Road in Sharonville just after 8:30 a.m., according to Hamilton County emergency communication reports.

Sharonville police and fire remain on scene investigating.

Earlier, a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured at 10th and Monmouth streets in Newport just after 8 a.m.

The victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Newport police are investigating.

In Forest Park, a 15-year-old boy was struck in the 1200 block of West Kemper Road outside Winton Woods High School just after 7:30 a.m.  

He was conscious after the accident and taken to Mercy Hospital Fairfield with a possible broken leg.

The driver was not cited and it appeared the pedestrian was at fault, according to Sgt. DeSalvo of Forest Park police. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
