The woman told police that three suspects walked into her home and demanded money. When she said she didn't have anything, they reportedly shot her in the leg.
She was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is expected to be okay.
The suspects fled the seen without taking anything. They are still on the loose.
"Right now we are treating it as a burglary gone bad," said Cincinnati Police Lt. Maurice Robinson.
