Police searching for two suspects in Sunoco gas station shooting, car jacking

FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for two suspect who shot a victim, and stole a car from a Forest Park Sunoco gas station Thursday night.

Dispatchers say that the incident occurred at the Sunoco in the 11010 block of Southland Rd at Sharon Road around 8:40 p.m.

A man tells FOX19 NOW he was inside the Sunoco when the customer in front of him was short a nickel. He offered to pay and the man walked out.

The man says he went outside, and the suspect pointed a gun at him, they wrestled and the gun went off, with the bullet traveling through his pants.

The victim was not harmed

Police say the suspects arrived in a dark Dodge Magnum.

According to police, the first suspect is a light skinned male/black in his 20's with a possible mole on his right cheek.  The second suspect is described as a dark skinned male/black with facial hair and is heavy set.

The victims ran away, and drive off in the victims yellow 1972 Cutlass. That vehicle was quickly recovered.

The Forest Park Police Department is requesting that anyone who can identify either of these men please call Crimestoppers or the Forest Park Police Department at 595-5220.
