CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Three Franklin Township residents have been charged in connection to an overdose death in February of this year.
Sara Isaac, 22, is indicted for involuntary manslaughter. Authorities say Isaac injected heroin into Richard W. Root, Jr. at a residence in Felicity Township. Root, 42, later overdosed and died.
Samantha Renee Forbes, 24, and Katherine Campbell, 28, are both charged with tampering with evidence for the Feb. 27 incident. The women allegedly removed money and medication from Root and hid the heroin syringe before emergency responders arrived on scene.
The Clermont County Sheriff's Office says investigators are continuing to review the case for possible additional charges.
