SPRINGBORO, OH (FOX19) - The FBI confirmed Saturday that there's an investigation into an alleged Springboro Ponzi Scheme.

The people at the center allegedly used the money to buy racehorses, luxury vehicles, and a $1 million farm in Clark County. Agents Wednesday, Oct. 29, raided the Springboro home of William and Connie Apostelos.

According to the FBI, what started the feds looking were several bankruptcy filings involving the couple and companies tied to them. It is believed that the couple may have bilked investors out of as much as $50 million dollars.

The FBI only confirmed the investigation. So far, no one's been charged or arrested.
