Rookie Jeremy Hill stepped up in a major way in the Week 9 match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hill's performance paid off for the Bengals as they won 33-23.
Giovani Bernard sat the game with an injury and Jeremy Hill got his first start of the season. He came up big with 154 yards rushing and two touchdowns off 24 attempts.
The Jaguars would were not going to go down easily. Jacksonville scored back-to-back touchdowns in the fourth to come to within three points.
Hill's longest run of the game was a 60-yard touchdown, which sealed the victory for the Bengals in the fourth quarter.
A.J. Green did suit up for the first time since Week 6. He made three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Green's replacement for the past few games, Mohamed Sanu, continued his solid season with 95 yards and a touchdown.
Andy Dalton was only 19-of-31 for 233 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Bengals play Thursday night against in-state rival Cleveland at Paul Brown Stadium.
