Alcohol is a factor in a West Price Hill crash that sent a driver to the hospital early Monday, Cincinnati police said.
A woman in her early 30s either passed out or fell asleep behind the wheel just before 3 a.m. and ran left of center at the intersection of Glenway Avenue and Ferguson Place.
Her gray Chrysler PT Cruiser slammed into a utility pole. She was wearing a seatbelt and suffered only minor injuries, police said.
She was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police cited her with failure to control her vehicle and say more charges are pending.
