Westwood Subway robbery suspect faces judge Monday

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

 The suspect in a weekend Subway robbery is scheduled to face a judge Monday.

Corey D. Johnson, 25, of Westwood is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on three counts of aggravated robbery.

According to court records, Johnson walked into the Subway sandwich shop at 3134 Harrison Ave. about 6:15 p.m. Saturday and handed a note to Subway employee. 

The note indicated he had a gun, demanded cash and threatened to shoot the workers if they didn't comply, Cincinnati police said.

He had his hands in his coat, leading the victims to believe he had a weapon, his arrest slip shows.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Johnson ran out of the store.

He was arrested nearby about 15 minutes later.
