FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) -

Police have released surveillance video from a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a Forest Park gas station in an effort to identify a robbery suspect.

The robbery happened on Oct. 30 in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station in the 11000 block of Southland Road.

The victim, Norman Williams, Sr., says he was in line at the gas station when the man in line in front of him said he was a nickel short.

"I told him, 'Don't worry about it. I got it,'" said Williams. "Brother took his stuff and walked out."

Williams was in line for cigars and wine when he picked up the difference for that man, he says. Williams paid, then walked out the door when he was approached by a man in the parking lot next to his car.

"He said, 'give it up! Give it up! Give it up,'" Williams told FOX19 NOW.

That's when he found a gun in his face.

"My first reaction was to grab the gun. I grabbed the gun and I put it down and we wrestled for a second, and I heard a gunshot," he said.

That gunshot left Williams with two holes. But neither of them drew any blood.

"I felt heat," Williams said.

It looks as if the bullet went in his pants and out his pant leg.

"I checked myself to see that I had this gunshot, this bullet here and this gunshot here. I checked myself, and other than this graze, I was cool," said Williams

At that point, he heard tires squealing and made the sad discovery that his beloved classic car was gone.

"That's when I figured out it was all about my '72 classic Cutlass convertible. They basically just carjacked me," Williams told FOX19 NOW.

The car was found by police a short time later.
