Elmwood Place man followed home from gas station, robbed at gunpoint

ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) - Police are looking for a woman suspect after an Elmwood Place man was followed home from a gas station and robbed.

According to police, the robbery happened at the Speedway near the intersection of Vine Street and Seymour Avenue on Oct. 19.

Miguel Jacinto Ixcoy told police he was buying beer from the gas station around 1:30 a.m. when he was approached by a woman with blonde hair. He said she offered him sex but he refused and left.

Ixcoy then drove to his house in the 6300 block of Vine Street. When he got there, he noticed a white Chevrolet Blazer pull up behind him.

While Ixcoy was walking to his door, he said a large black male around the age of 40, armed with a pistol attacked him, along with the woman who approached him at the gas station.

The suspects got away with $3,000 that Ixcoy was carrying because he was planning on buying a car earlier in the day.

As the suspects fled, Ixcoy chased after them and rear ended the Blazer with his own car. The driver of the Blazer then slammed on the brakes, causing Ixcoy's vehicle to go underneath the SUV.

Ixcoy said he remembered some of the numbers on the license plate to be 6001 or 6100.

If you have any information about this crime you are asked to call the Elmwood Police Department at 513-242-0756 ext. 3.
