Meteorologist caught urinating? Brian Williams sets the record straight
Weather Channel meteorologist Mike Seidel appeared to be caught relieving himself on live TV when anchor Lester Holt tossed to him for a live hit from snowy North Carolina – at least that's what social media thought.
Multiple tweets and even news magazines called out the weatherman for seemingly answering Mother Nature's call on live TV. "Weather Reporter Mike Seidel Was Caught Off Guard on Live TV and Appeared to Be Urinating in the Snow" an US Weekly headline read.
But Brian Williams brazenly came to Seidel's defense Monday night during his broadcast.
"Social media owes our friend Mike Seidel an apology. The intrepid and fearless weather meteorologist was the victim of some wild misinformation," said Williams.
Turns out Seidel had technical difficulties and had to turn his back to the storm to remedy the situation, Williams explained. Watch the video here if you're on a mobile device.
Kimmel's candy prank
Jimmy Kimmel once again played an epic Halloween prank of the children of America and aired the outcome on his show Monday night.
It's the fourth year Jimmy's enlisted parents to tell kids they ate all the Halloween candy and then film their reactions.
"You ruined my life," one upset child tells his mother. Every kid's reaction varies, some experience sheer rage while other respond with innocent understanding. Watch the video below or here if you're on a mobile device.
