FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A family is trying to get their house put back together after an SUV smashed into it Sunday morning.
According to police, a vehicle ran into a townhouse in the 7500 block of Wildbranch Road around 10:30 a.m.
Lisa Kemp was sleeping in her home when she heard a loud noise.
"It sounded like a bomb went off and I yelled for my son and he said a car went through our house," Kemp said. "When I got up I seen that he was actually coming down the steps where the car had come through. So if he would have come down a few seconds earlier he would have been hit."
No one was injured but the front of the house sustained moderate damage.
Police at the scene said the crash appeared to be an accident.
