TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A woman in her 20s was critically injured in a one-vehicle crash on Ohio 123 near Settlemire Road overnight, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The driver, whose name has not been released, ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected and careened across the left side of the road, where she ran off into a ditch and a utility pole about midnight, said Trooper Aaron Ross.
She had her seatbelt on but still suffered life-threatening injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Bethesda North Hospital and then airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but authorities say they do not believe speed or alcohol or drugs are factors.
Ohio 123 was shut down for about two hours. It has since reopened.
