FOX19 NOW, Kroger and St. Vincent de Paul kicked off the 24th annual “Food From the Heart” food drive on November 13. The drive continues through December 31.
“Food From the Heart” encourages Tri-State residents to donate non-perishable goods at any greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Kroger location. New this year at most Kroger locations are pre-packaged bags which can be donated for $6 each and provide four meals. The donations are distributed by St. Vincent de Paul volunteers to families across the area. Cash donations may also be made at Kroger or by visiting FOX19NOW.com.
This year's goal is to collect enough food and cash donations to make 50,000 meals. Since the campaign began, more than 956,000 meals have been donated to Tri-State residents in need.
