Jury finds suspect in deadly police-involved shooting not guilty

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A jury found a man not guilty that left one dead in an officer involved shooting in November of 2012.

Jurors found Gerry Branner, 24, not guilty of murder and involuntary manslaughter in an incident that led to a Cincinnati Police officer shooting and killing Dontez O'Neal, 19, on Nov. 21, 2012.

Branner entered guilty plea deals for seven different charges including drug trafficking, and weapons charges. He had a bench trial on different weapons charges but was not found guilty.

He will be sentenced on Nov. 17 by Judge Charles Kubicki.
