Power outage affects over 1,200 in Norwood

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A power outage left many customers without electricity in the Rookwood Commons area in Norwood Saturday evening.

Duke Energy reported the outage at around 5:10 p.m. and said that around 1,200 customers were without power. 

Duke Energy says that the power outage was caused by damage to their equipment.

The original restoration time was supposed to be 7:30 p.m., but it got pushed to 9:23 p.m.

Power was finally restored at around 8:23 p.m. to the entire Norwood area.
