MT. HEALTHY, OH (FOX19) -

Two people are in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Mt. Healthy Sunday evening.

Mt. Healthy Police were dispatched at around 4:45 p.m. to the accident in the 8000 block of Hamilton Avenue.

According to police, at this time, it is believed that the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical episode and the driver ran off the roadway, struck two pedestrians at the bus stop, and crashed into a wall.

"The car accelerated and hit the lady that was sitting at the bench. It drug her all the way across the parking lot and then slammed into the building there,” said James Prior.

Prior says a man also standing at the bus stop was struck. He told Prior and his friend he was having car problems and needed to catch the bus. Prior says seconds later, the car jumped the curb striking him.

"My buddy was sitting there talking to him. Told him to have a nice day and walked off. As soon as he walked off, that car hit him. He kept trying to get up and they told him just to lay down and wait for the ambulance,” said Prior.

Officials say that along with the two pedestrians, two juveniles and the driver in the vehicle, were all injured.

Mt. Healthy Police say the two juveniles were transported o Children's Hospital; the others were transported to UC Medical.

The conditions of those are unknown.
