CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - An associate of State Representative Peter Beck pleaded no contest Monday, agreeing to testify against Beck in court.
Janet Combs pleaded no contest to receiving stolen property. She is accused of taking money from her organization Ark by the River Fellowship Ministries, Inc. She is looking at up to three years in jail once she is sentenced.
There is still no trial date for Beck, who is accused of misleading investors and using their money for personal gain. The lawmaker was indicted on more than 50 counts earlier this year. The charges include engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, perjury and money laundering.
