WAYNE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police have identified a man who died in a two-vehicle crash in Butler County overnight.

The driver, identified as Robert Miniard, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:34 p.m. accident on Taylor School Road just west of Eaton Road in Wayne Township, sheriff's officials said. He was wearing a seatbelt.

Authorities say Miniard was traveling westbound on Taylor School Road when he lost control of his vehicle, over-corrected and came back into the road, where his car was struck by an oncoming, eastbound car.

The driver and passenger in the eastbound vehicle suffered with minor injuries. They were taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital by ambulance, sheriff's officials said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
