One person has died from injuries after a crash in Clermont County Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the two-car crash happened around 4:40 p.m. on State Route 132 near Benton Road in Batavia.
Officials say a preliminary investigation revealed that Barry Fridley, 47, of Batavia was operating a 2006 Chevy Silverado northbound on State Route 132, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, he attempted to correct but the car traveled sideways across the center line and struck 19-year-old Crystal Melton's 1996 Saturn sending both vehicles off the west side of the roadway.
Candice Melton, 24, of Amelia was in the car with Crystal. Crystal is from Loveland, according to police.
Officials say Candice was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to officials, Crystal Melton and Barry Fridley were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by AirCare with serious injuries.
Authorities say Candice Melton and Crystal Melton were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, but Fridley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
