Man steals cash register in gas station robbery

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Police say a man stole an entire cash register in a gas station robbery Wednesday night.

The robbery occurred just before 10:30 at a BP Gas Station in the 3200 block of Harrison Avenue in Westwood.

According to authorities, the man was a male black in a black hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a 9mm pistol with a silencer.

No further information has been released. 

The robbery is under investigation.
