LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

Her name is known across the country, but one school is reminding her that she will always be remembered locally.

Lauren Hill's jersey was retired in Lawrenceburg Saturday afternoon.

Hill's teammates and friends gathered around as her no. 22 jersey was presented in a frame. That frame will be displayed in Lawrenceburg High School.

The mayor also declared the week 'Lauren Hill week' before handing her the keys of the city.
