After Tuesday night's win, University of Cincinnati Head Coach Mick Cronin disclosed that redshirt freshman Jamaree Strickland had been suspended indefinitely from the basketball team.
Cronin said the suspension was due to “conduct unbecoming of a Bearcat.”
Strickland was not on the bench during the game or in the arena for the Bearcat 59-50 victory.
The 6-foot 10-inch center was ruled ineligible last season after the NCAA would not accept his high school courses.
Coach Cronin would not say if Strickland will be back with the team Friday evening against Middle Tennessee State in the Emerald Coast Classic.
