WATCH LIVE: Tracie Hunter sentencing

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Former Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge Tracie Hunter will be sentenced on a felony conviction Friday after a judge declined her request for a new trial earlier this week.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Norbert Nadel scheduled the sentencing for 10 a.m.

On Wednesday, Nadel denied her second request for a new trial after being convicted in October of unlawful interest in a public contract.

She requested a new trial based on claims of juror misconduct.

Hunter, who is also a minister, said the jury forewoman did not tell the court about sexual assault allegations she made against a minister in 1972. Attorney Clyde Bennett argued that could have provided opportunity for juror bias against Hunter.

The prosecution disagreed, saying there was no evidence to support the juror misconduct accusations.

The judge concurred.

"Defendant has failed to show that she was prejudiced by the juror's alleged failure to reveal revelations which allegedly occurred approximately 40 years ago," Nadel wrote in his decision. "In addition, these incidents never involved any type of criminal charges or convictions."

Hunter previously filed a motion for a mistrial claiming three jurors were pressured to agree on a guilty verdict

Nadel denied that as well.
