CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Residents of Cincinnati will get a first look at the new streetcar branding Tuesday.

The new brand by Kolar Design was unveiled Tuesday at 12:30 at City Hall.

The process started in May when Metro sent a request for proposals to more than 100 firms. A team of City of Cincinnati and Metro representatives reviewed 18 proposals and decided to go with Kolar design. Kolar developed a system that includes the logo and guidelines for branding on vehicles, signs, stations, operators' uniforms, website and print materials. The cost for this work is $25,000, all paid for by federal funds. Officials say this work is part of the development of the project and is within the budget.

Also the Streetcar "Founders Club" cards were unveiled today. Those will be good for rides on the streetcar when it opens in 2016.
